A Shutout God

Being a New Jersey Devil has never felt so heavenly for Martin Brodeur.  But today, the worlds have switched.

18 seasons, 1065 games, 630 wins, 104 shutouts.  That's how part of the story goes for Monsieur Brodeur.

Against the current Stanley Cup champions the Pittsburgh Penguins, Brodeur stopped all 35 shots against him to beat the NHL's shutout record set by Terry Sawchuck.

I guess goose eggs aren't so worthless after all.
