  • Trade Talk: Now that the trade window is open, there have been a couple of movements all over the world of football.  Bayern Munich have agreed upon three deals.  Luca Toni is off to AS Roma till the end of the season, and Breno and Andreas Ottl have been loaned out to FC Nurnberg
  • The Boston Bruins have signed FA Miroslav Satan (not "Say-TAHN", "SHAH-tan") for the rest of the year with a no movement clause.
  • Two more Canadian Olympians to add to your list.  Speed skaters Lucas Makowsky and Kristina Groves have secured their spots after wins in the 1500 m race.  Markowsky also won the 5000 m
  • In Women's hockey, Team Canada swept Team USA in all of their meetings this past season.  Their latest meeting ended in the shoot-out, with Canada winnint 3-2. Game report
  • Brad Lukowich of the Vancouver Canucks has cleared re-entry waivers and has been recalled by the Canucks, but was scratched for the Dallas game.  Mathieu Schneider has cleared his waivers as well and will report to the Manitoba Moose (Canucks AHL associate)
