Les nouvelles

  • Because the post-season is just so interesting...
    • NHL
      • Phoenix/Detroit: Phoenix gathered all their strength and will to win 5-2 over the Red Wings and tie the series at 3 a-piece.  Tuesday is going to be D-Day for one of these teams.
      • Vancouver/LA: VANCOUVER WON IT YO!  Read the post before this!
    • AHL
      • Manchester/Worcester: The only other game to get off in the second round, Worcester gets off on the right foot and won 4-3, and now leads the series 1-0.
      • Albany/Hershey: Game 2, Hershey won 6-3 and leads the series with a great 2-0.
      • Abbotsford/Rochester: The Heat won the match 5-1 and pushes for a Game 7.
      • Manitoba/Hamilton: Manitoba tried to hold off from being eliminated, but it wasn't enough (tears) as the Bulldogs (yea!) won 3-2 in OT to move on to the next round.
    • OHL
      • Windsor/Kitchener: Windsor rallied back, and with a goal from Eric Wellwood, defeated the Rangers 4-1 to head to the OHL finals to play the Barrie Colts on the 27th.
    • WHL
      • Tri-City/Vancouver: For another season, Vancouver's playoff dreams come to a halt against another American franchise (this time the team is acutally named Americans) with a heart-shattering (no exaggeration) 5-2 lost.  I'm hurt.  We made it to the conference finals and we won 2 big games against Tri-City, but we fell short in Game 6, and ultimately lose the series.  Guess the finals are going to be Calgary/Tri-City.  I really wanted a Calgary/Vancouver final.
