  • As a lot of series wrap up tonight... here's your update!
    • NHL
      • Washington/Montreal: Montreal pushed for a game 7 with a convincing 1-4 win.  Series tied 3-3.
      • Buffalo/Boston: Boston wins the series with a 3-4 win to win the series 4-2.
      • Chicago/Nashville: 5-3 win by Chicago cleans up the Predators in 6 games.
    • AHL
      • Milwaukee/Chicago: Chicago wins the 7 game series with a 1-2 win.  Now they face the Texas Stars in the second round.
    • QMJHL
      • Saint John/Victoriaville: Game 6, the Sea Dogs looked to eliminate the Tigres and face Moncton in the finals.  And that they did with a 1-7 win over Victoriaville.  Onto the Q finals!
  • Now that the season has ended early for the young Colorado Avalanche team, Matt Duchene will suit up along with his fellow youthful teammates in a Team Canada jersey in the 2010 World Championship in Germany. TSN spin
  • New Jersey Devil's head coach Jacques Lemaire is calling it quits from coaching in the NHL.  64 years old, Lemaire is thinking it's time to hang up his whistle and skates for good.  Let's say a proper goodbye.
  • NHL Awards: The Masterton Memorial Trophy is awarded to the player that exemplifies perserverance and dedication to hockey.  The finalists are: Kurtis Foster, Jed Ortmeyer, and Jose Theodore. TSN's tale
  • This was kinda slow: Wayne Rooney has been named PFA's footballer of the year.  Congrats to him (I say that with complete lack of emotion).
