  • The only playoff update any of you are getting is the NHL.  Why?  Because apparently the CHL and the AHL decided that today was not a day for hockey.  Let's leave it to the NHL.
    • NHL
      • Philadelphia/Boston: Boston took a big 3-2 win over the Flyers to take a big 2-0 lead in the series.
      • Vancouver/Chicago: Chicago won 2-4, but the scoreline only begins to tell a small part of the story.  The game was something for true hockey fans to enjoy.  Chicago, with the win, has split the series 1-1 before heading to Vancouver.
  • Anyone who watched game 3 of the OHL finals between Barrie and Windsor will know what this is all about.  Barrie Colts' Darren Archibald is suspended indefinitely for his HUGE hit on Windsor Spitfires' goalie, Phillipp Grubauer.  Not only that, but a lot of the other physical action has led to a bunch of suspensions.  Zac Rinaldo (Colts) and Adam Wallace (Spitfires) have been suspended indefinitely.  OHL explains
  • Canada Sports Hall of Fame has named the 2010 class of inductees.  Patrick Roy (love him!), Clara Hughes (adore her!), and Chantal Petitclerc (respect!) are the inductees!  Take it away, TSN
  • For you Team Russia fans, Alex Ovechkin and Alex Semin have been named to the Russian roster for the IIHF World Championship.
  • The Chicago Bulls have fired head coach, Vinny Del Negro.  Maybe it's time to start anew?  TSN reports
