  • 2010 FIFA World Cup update
    • Germany v. Serbia: nil-1 by Serbia.  Who was shocked about this?  I certainly was.  But maybe it'll be good for the Germans to get their head screwed on properly.
    • Slovenia v. USA: 2-2 draw, but what another "win" by the Yanks.  At HT, the US was down in a 2-nil defecit.  After a couple of substitutions and relentless efforts, they pulled out 2 goals and almost got a third, but a controversial whistle was blown.
    • England v. Algeria: Held to a draw yet again, the English were held to a nil-nil draw by the Algerians.
  • The Anaheim Ducks have signed Kyle Chipchura to a 1-year contract worth $650,000.  Ducks
  • While one Californian team said hello to a player, another said goodbye.  San Jose Sharks' Rob Blake has finally called it quits after a long 20-year career.  Sharks
