Transfer Window - the Finale

Today, in the footballing world, is the day that makes a handful of clubs - and fans - pull their hair.  It's the final day of the transfer window before it opens up again in Spring.

So what have the many clubs of footy in the world do today?  Let's take a look-see...

  • As if I didn't dislike this guy enough, Robinho has transferred over to AC Milan where he will sport the Italian club's jersey for 4 years.  Robinho becomes the club's second big signing this transfer window after Zlatan Ibrahimovic.  TSN news
  • Franco Di Santo has been sold to Wigan Athletic for an undisclosed fee.  Di Santo will stay under contract with Wigan for 3-years.  Chelsea's blues
  • Liverpool has completed the transfer of full-back Paul Konchesky.  The full-back will wear the #3 jersey for 4-years.  In exchance, Fulham FC have acquired Lauri Dalla Valle and Alex Kacaniklic.  Red sea of truth
  • Wolverhampton Wanderers have acquired striker Marcus Bent on loan from Birmingham City.  Bent will stay with the Wolves until January.  The report
  • In a deal, Portmouth has gained Dave Kitson and Liam Lawrence.  In turn, they lost their captain Marc Wilson to Stoke CityGreater London swap
  • Oxford United have signed striker Tom Craddock for an undisclosed fee.  Sky Sports shares
  • Alan Sheehan has joined Swindon Town on a 1-year contract.  A brief spell
  • Chris Barker will sport the jersey of Southend United from now on.  Barker has signed on to a 2-year deal after being on loan to the team since the start of the season.  the Story
  • Notts County will enjoy the services of Alan Judge.  The promising youth will have to show what he's got to County if he wishes to prove his worth to the senior clubs.  Judge closes the case
  • Rangers FC have confirmed loan deal between them and Aberdeen FC.  Aberdeen will gain Andrius Velicka and the Rangers will acquire Richard Foster.
  • After being released by Sunderland FC, Teemu Taino has signed a 1-year deal with the Dutch club Ajax.  Sky Sports
  • Hull City and Crystal Palace have put aside their rivalry and differences so that defender Anthony Gardner could join Palace on loan.  Rivalry pause
