  • Nashville Predators' Jordin Tootoo has voluntarily entered the NHL's substance abuse-behavioural health program.  Tootoo will be an in-care patient and will be paid his full salary as long as he complies with the treatment and program.  Predators
  • All who planned on being or watching the NHL Winter Classic come this January may be in for a little kick.  The Winter Classic may be post-poned to later in the day or the following day depending on how the weather is forecasted to be.  TSN
  • And for those who care, Italian and Juventus star player Alessandro del Piero's wife has given birth to a healthy boy named Sasha earlier today.  Sasha joins an older brother and sister to make the del Piero family a group of five.  Announcement
  • After a win in New Jersey, the boys of the Toronto Maple Leafs are stuck in Jersey due to the heavy snowfall.  Last night, they had issues getting back to the hotel.  Today they can't take off.  What a hell of a road trip, eh?  What a force mother nature is, eh? (Credits to various Twitters)
