  • Gossip: Manchester United's Rio Ferdinand and wife, Rebecca, have welcomed the birth of an adorable daughter, Tia on Sunday. (Source: Twitter [@rioferdy5])
    • Best of luck to Newcastle's Stephen Ireland's girlfriend, Jessica Lowler! She has sustained major injuries after a car crash that occurred sometime last week. Hope she gets better soon! Source
  • CHL playoff update:
    • OHL:
      • The conference finals are all set up! The Owen Sound Attack will play the Windsor Spitfires on Tuesday in the Western Conference. The Mississauga Majors will play the Niagara Ice Dogs on Tuesday, too, in the Eastern Conference. Schedule
    • QMJHL:
      • No games today, but the lone game to be played for the second round (between the Quebec Remparts and the Shawinigan Cataractes) will be played on Tuesday.
      • The teams that are set and ready in the semi-finals: the St. John Sea Dogs, the Lewiston MAINEiacs, and the Gatineau Olympiques.
    • WHL:
      • The only game that must be played in the WHL's second round is the one between the Spokane Chiefs and the Tri-City Americans. That game will be played on Tuesday.
      • The teams that are onto the WHL Conference Finals are the Portland Winterhawks, the Medicine Hat Tigers, and the Kootenay Ice.
  • AHL playoff update:
    • East:
      • Not part of the single game being played today, the Charlotte Checkers remain tied with the Hershey Bears 1-1 in the series
      • Manchester Monarchs last grabbed an OT win against the Binghamton Senators to lead the series 2-1
      • Portland Pirates still lead the series 2-1 against the Connecticut Whalers
      • Norfolk Admirals hold a big 2-0 series lead over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins
    • West:
      • Being the only game being played today the Houston Aeros won Monday's game to  go up 3-0 in the series against the Peoria Rivermen
      • Manitoba Moose last pushed the Lake Erie Monsters to OT and grabbed a win to make the series 1-1
      • Hamliton Bulldogs continue to hold a big 2-0 series lead against the Oklahoma City Barons
      • Milwaukee Admirals and the Texas Stars are in a series tie at 1-1
  • NHL playoff update:
    • East:
      • Philadelphia Flyers took a huge road win to now lead the Buffalo Sabres 2-1 in the series
      • Boston Bruins win Game 3 in Montreal, but the Montreal Canadiens continue to lead the series 2-1
      • Pittsburgh Penguins won Game 3 in the Sunny State and now lead the series 2-1 against Tampa Bay Lightning
      • Washington Capitals continue to lead the series 2-1 against the New York Rangers
    • West:
      • Detroit Red Wings took a huge win over the Phoenix Coyotes in the desert to go up 3-0 in the series
      • Vancouver Canucks have a tremendous 3-0 series lead against the Chicago Blackhawks
      • San Jose Sharks and the LA Kings are tied 1-1 in the California match-up
      • Nashville Predators lead the Anaheim Ducks in a 2-1 series, in favour of the Nashville team
