  • New England Revolution (MLS) have acquired Benny Feilhaber for the rest of the MLS season. Revolution 
  • Some more NHL award nominees were announced on Wednesday. For instance the GM of the Year award! And the nominees are Mike Gillis (Vancouver Canucks), David Polie (Nashville Predators), and Steve Yzerman (Tampa Bay Lightning). NHL
  • All you hockey fans in Victoria, BC guess what! Y'all got a WHL team now! The Chilliwack Bruins have been purchased and are being relocated to the province's capital. WHL
  • CHL playoff update:
    • The OHL had an off-day today and the Conference finals will resume on Thursday
      • Eastern Conference finals: Mississauga Majors lead the Niagara Ice Dogs 1-0 in the series
      • Western Conference finals: Owen Sound Attack lead the 2010 and 2009 Memorial Cup champions, Windsor Spitfires, in a 1-0 series
    • QMJHL had an off-day today and the semi-finals will be played on Friday
      • Matchups: Lewiston MAINEiacs vs. St. John Sea Dogs; Gatineau Olypmiques vs. Quebec Remparts
    • WHL had an off-day as well and all Conference final games will be played on Friday
      • Eastern Conference finals: Medicine Hat Tigers vs. Kootenay Ice
      • Western Conference finals: Portland Winterhawks vs. Spokane Chiefs
  • AHL playoff update:
    • East:
      • Hershey Bears dropped the Game 4 by a single goal to the Charlotte Checkers and  are now tied 2-2
      • Manchester Monarchs lost in the first OT period to the Binghamton Senators and now have a single game lead in a 3-2
      • Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins doubled the Norfolk Admirals' score, and are now tied 2-2 in the series
      • Connecticut Whalers defeated the Portland Pirates and are now 2-2 in the series
    • West:
      • Oklahoma City Barons defeated the Hamilton Bulldogs to tie the series at 2-2
      • Texas Stars dropped Game 4 to the Milwaukee Admirals and are tied in the 2-2 series
      • Manitoba Moose dropped Game 3 to the Lake Erie Monster and trail 2-1 in the series
      • Houston Aeros swept the Peoria Rivermen to win the series 4-0
  • NHL playoff update:
    • East:
      • Philadelphia Flyers got shutout by the Buffalo Sabres who tied the series 2-2
      • It took two OT period, but the Pittsburgh Penguins won the game against the Tampa Bay Lightning and now lead 3-1
      • Washington Capitals took the game against the New York Rangers to two OT period, but eventually pull out a win to lead the series 3-1
      • Boston Bruins and the Montreal Canadiens resume play on Thursday in a 2-1 led by Montreal
    • West:
      • Like 15 years ago, the Detroit Red Wings put an (possible) end to the era of the Phoenix Coyotes as they win the series in a sweep 4-0
      • Nashville Predators got doubled in score by the Anaheim Ducks and are now tied 2-2 in the series
      • Vancouver Canucks were blown out of the waters against the Chicago Blackhawks, but still lead the series 3-1
      • San Jose Sharks won in OT on Tuesday night to go up 2-1 against the LA Kings
