  • My strongest prayers and wishes to the Boogaard family and those who knew Derek Boogaard (the Boogeyman) of the New York Rangers (formerly of the Minnesota Wild).     • OHL Finals
      • Pushing each other to the limits, a Game 7 has been forced between the Owen Sound Attack and the Mississauga Majors who are tied 3-3 in the series
    • QMJHL Finals
      • Able to finish the series, the St. John Sea Dogs lead the Gatineau Olympiques 3-2 in the series
    • WHL Finals
      • Winning by three goals, the Kootenay Ice are named WHL Champions and are now onto the road to Mississauga and the Memorial Cup after defeating the Portland Winterhawks 4-1 in th series
  • AHL playoff update - Conference Finals
    • Eastern Conference Finals
      • Surprising quite a few, 7th seeded Binghamton Senators lead the Charlotte Checkers 2-0 in the series
    • Western Conference Finals
      • Houston Aeros took the first game against the Hamilton Bulldogs to lead the series 1-0
  • NHL playoff update - Conference Finals
    • Eastern Conference Finals
      • After both sweeping their opponents in the second round, the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Boston Bruins take to the ice against each other on Saturday at the TD Garden

      • Taking the Detroit Red Wings the distance, the San Jose Sharks came out on top and look to face the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday
